This vehicle is street legal, I'm thinking of buying one.

If I registered it in N.C. as a motor vehicle, I would be able to park it in my driveway at the Plantation.

Titian 4 Space Shot

A fellow cruiser told us that a Titan 4 rocket would be launched from Cape Canaveral on the 19th. We decided to go. We exited the ICW heading east on the Canaveral barge canal looking for an anchorage.

We anchored in the Banana River about 6 miles from the pad.

Sandy and Jim awating the launch.

At approx. 7:30 the Titan launched and lifted away. Very noisy and spectacular.

The rocket disappearing into space. A thrilling experience.

The Captain had been experiencing stomach pains during the night, in the morning we found out why!

Sweetgrass baskets being made by a local.
Brought to the area by slaves who came from West Africa, basket making is a traditional art form which has been passed on from generation to generation. Today, it is one of the oldest art forms of African origin in the United States
